Member Testimonials
Below we have featured what a few of our member chiropractors have to say about the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association and our efforts to support our members and education the public.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Mr. Gene Veno and his staff for all their tireless support of the chiropractic profession not only for the State of Penn but actually for the entire country. Every time I have a question, complaint or concern they are very prompt in their response with updated information. I just wanted to take a moment to thank them for their hard work
Thank you,
Dr. Todd, Philadelphia
Hi I am Dr. Mark Persson, the alternative director of ACA and I am also a PCA member from Brimley Park PA part District 6 Delaware County. I think joining the PCA is a good idea for any doctor in Pennsylvania it is so important that you support our chiropractic state association financially and also support the pact fund. We are working hard legislatively, legally and with our committees and home office staff in order to support your practice rights and your ability to get paid within Pennsylvania. It is so important we have these networking relationships with our legislatures that we are dealing daily with our legal issues and we are also in communication with insurance companies so that we can have our practice rights taken care of properly and we can get paid from insurance companies on a timely and regular basis.
Thank you,
Dr. Mark Persson, Brimley Park
I am giving a testimonial about Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association and Mr. Gene Veno. I just wanted to say in today realm of poor reimbursement and negative backlash from large insurance companies, I am very happy to be able to pick up the phone and speak to Gene about my concerns. I have only had my own practice for about 3 years and Gene has already personally helped me resolve a personal issue with an insurance company that I would not have known how to handle on my own. So for those doctors who are listening but are not dues paying members I have to say that the PCA is only as strong as the doctors who support them financially. I can’t think of a better to way to protect your right to practice chiropractic than to support your state organization. The amount you pay in dues is very small when you consider what your practice makes. Thanks and I will wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous year.
Dr. Cynthia Pleskow, Latrobe
I would like to provide some positive feedback with regards to my experience with Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. I couldn’t say it has been a privilege to get to know Gene. He is encouraged my husband and I to set the precedence for quality care, not only just chiropractic but to create an integrated health care program. Gene and the organization have always supported us with whatever way I needed in logistics and encouragement. For that I am forever thankful for Gene and his efforts in moving the chiropractic profession forward. We are greatly blessed by all that he does.
Thank you,
Dr. Penny Koval, Hershey
It’s great to be in PCA, whenever I have had a question on insurance documentation or really any additional question regarding chiropractic in 2008. Gene the president has even called me personally to go over any of my concerns. I can’t say enough about being in this organization it means a lot. You will definitely feel like you are not alone.
Dr. Janet, Abbottstown
I just wanted to say I have seen the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association and all the member regional district supervisors’ work tirelessly for me and my profession. I am extremely grateful for the lobbying that they do on a legal basis and for the way they try to keep insurance companies to their word. They fight for our profession and they do what we as individuals are not able to do. For this I very happy to pay my dues to the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. Encourage anybody to do the very least that we can do for our profession which is to give our dues so these people who have the energy, strength and will power can work so eloquently for the justice of our profession.
Thank You PCA! Thank you,
Dr. Thomas Kricsky, Northwell
Just would like to say that the PCA is the very best investment in our profession and individual practice that there is especially now with the many challenges there is to our survival.
Thank you PCA,
Dr. Jeanne, New Brighton
The PCA is very helpful to me in practicing, not only with insurance problems but with legislative problems and legislative help. The PCA has always been there for me to answer all my questions and the questions of my staff. They have helped train my staff in the proper procedures and CPT codes and such. I am very grateful for the service they provide our profession in Pennsylvania and I highly recommend that all chiropractors that practice in the state of Pennsylvania consider being a member of the PCA. I don’t know what I would do without them.
Thank You,
Dr. Vic Rizzo, Altoona
member since 1983
For 13 years I have been a member since I started in practice. I would be at the status or succeeded as well as I have without the PCA. I would even think about not being a member. The history of all the things they have done for us and standing up for us. The PCA is an awesome group that everyone should be a member of.
Dr. Dan, Pittsburgh
I thank God for PCA at least once a week. There always seems to be something, especially in the current insurance climate that pops up in the confines of my day to day practice. It could be a billing coding question, insurance company cutting back what I can bill under the scope of my license, question about documentation, an insurance company cutting back on what I can bill under the scope of my license or a question regarding necessity, all these issues can make practice very difficult and frustrating. Thankfully the PCA has always been there patiently answering my questions and in many instances walking me through step by step in whatever issue I am trying to resolve. Recently, I have noticed that the PCA is trying to give chiropractic a larger presence in Washington so our voices and the voices of our patients can be heard. This makes me feel good and helps me sleep at night knowing that an organization I belong to is fighting so hard to make a difference in my practice and all the doctors who practice in the state of Pennsylvania. Quite frankly, my membership dues are the best money I spend all year and I couldn’t image not being a member.
Thank You,
Dr. Michael, Levittown
Thank you, PCA. Every time I have had a question the PCA has been able to answer it for me. It may not always been what I wanted to hear at least it was an answer. The responses have always been punctual and good about communication.
Dr. Chris Amato, Walnutport
I wanted to say that I am grateful for all of the work that the staff at PCA does for the chiropractors here in Pennsylvania and that goes for non-members as well as the members. My only complaint is that Pennsylvania does not have enough chiropractors who are members of the PCA. It seems like those chiropractors who have chosen to stand by the roadside are those who will not participate in anything and allow all the heavy lifting to be done by those few chiropractors who are members. I also think the home office of PCA does a commendable job considering there so few people working there. I would wish that everyone in the chiropractic profession in Pennsylvania would join the PCA and also the ACA so we could have significant membership in order to get our message across to the politicians and to the public and to the health care people who would use our services.
Dr. John Pammer
I just wanted to take a minute to thank Gene personally for all the help he has given me over the years as being a member of Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association. He has been right there with everything that needed answered and responded to and I truly appreciate that. The PCA is a wonderful organization to belong to and appreciate being a member.
Dr. Kevin Ayers, Wyoming County
The PCA for me at least is just that I know they are doing what they can behind the scenes to make sure the insurance companies don’t get too out of hand and that we can continue to make a living doing what we love to do.
